The ProblemThe client's food production area cabling was a shambles.
Distribution boards had covers missing and illegal connections together with no protection on the power outlets.
The power outlets themselves, were fitted to the production area ceiling, 3 meters high, making them difficult to access.

Our SolutionWe were asked to neaten up cabling and make safe the original installation.

CommentsMJM re-installed the cabling in production and added more electrical supplies for various equipment. The power outlets have now been fitted to stainless steel brackets, lowering their position to a more reachable and manageable height.
All of these power outlets have now been suitably protected on RCD units, and have been identified and labelled for ease of use should the equipment be relocated.
