The ProblemOur client contacted us with a broken elevator chain for one of their major rides. The rectification of this problem was all the more urgent due to it being a Bank Holiday weekend when they would be at their busiest.

Our SolutionFollowing an assessment on the Sunday evening, MJM assembled a team of engineers and sourced the specialist equipment required, including scaffolding and addidtional safety systems. Risk Assessments and Method Statements were also carried out as standard.

CommentsThe chain was moved to an isolated location for the new segment to be fitted. This was then inspected and tested and handed back to the park.
All of the above was completed within 48 hours of the initial call out.
In addition to this, we have sent the old chain off for assessment.
