International Reclaim Carousel
Brief
To achieve the airport’s revised capacity at this terminal by facilitating the increase in passenger numbers. The small reclaim carousel at this terminal was to be converted into a large international reclaim carousel. This carousel replacement also required the relocation and provision of its accompanying fixtures which included the wayfinding beacon, stainless steel gates and advertising screens.
Works
MJM Industrial is proud to take on the planning, logistics, builder’s works, carousel installation, stainless steel fabrication services and electrical testing to deliver this reclaim carousel project. The project entailed the modification of the tiled floor finish in dark and light grey, in line with the new carousel configuration. Our electrical engineers carried out various works on the existing electrical circuits, containment and cable routes. We repositioned the wayfinding beacon to align in-between the new layout design of the carousel. The waste removal and deliveries for this project were organised outside of normal working hours; site clearance undertaken in line with our environmental policy.
The MJM team working on the project adhered to the strict safety protocols and airside work procedures, without any disruption to ongoing airport operations. We are pleased to report that the completed reclaim carousel project was delivered to our client on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
