Airport Staff Restroom

Kitchen Worktop

Brief

Our client wanted to renovate the staff restroom as it had fallen out of use. The restroom was in desperate need of a revamp and did not serve its purpose as a welcoming environment for the staff members to relax in.

The goal of this project was to transform the space through a complete renovation. The work involved isolating the existing water supply as a first step in stripping out all existing kitchen fittings, flooring, and repairing the damage to wall surfaces.

MJM Industrial were briefed to fit a new kitchen made of glossy base units and a black granite effect worktop. Subsequently, we proceeded to lay a new vinyl floor and paint the walls with a light grey vinyl matt emulsion.

Solution

Our work was completed on nights to avoid any disruption to the daytime operations of the airport. To carry out this project, the MJM team obtained all necessary permits for access equipment, safety data sheets, approval from fire control, waste management control and permission for MJM engineers to work airside at the airport.

Client Feedback

A huge transformation from what was a neglected rest room to a smart professional area where staff want to go to.
